More about The Blitz Cafe

The Blitz Café and Tapas Bar is a very popular 1940s themed café/restaurant which can be found on Church Street, one of Whitby’s most popular streets (close to Whitby Abbey and the 199 steps). You really can have all your meals here… breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Delicious breakfasts are served from 11.00 to 12.00.

Lunchtime/afternoon… Scrumptiously tasty lunches from 12.30 through to 5pm including Afternoon Tea with home-made cakes and cream teas (booking in advance), or there’s an extensive menu of hot and cold foods which are available throughout the day.

Evenings with TAPAS… from 6pm the café transforms in to the delights of a TAPAS BAR, offering excellent Spanish dishes, steaks and fine wines (from Thursday to Saturday).

On Sundays, traditional, succulent roast dinners are available from 12.00 to 7pm.

A great range of beers, ales and cocktails are served throughout the day, as well as hot drinks.

This fully licensed restaurant/café is available for hiring out for parties/celebrations/get-togethers etc. There’s seating available over two floors.
