Standing at the entrance to the picturesque village of Sandsend, at the very edge of the beach (only a short walk or drive from Whitby), the Sandside Café (a café within a cabin) is known to be ‘the little café with the big view’.

The village of Sandsend is an unspoilt gem and a popular choice with families and couples, with its olde-worlde cottages, towering sea cliffs and fabulous beach with streams cutting through.

All food served at Sandside Café are locally sourced from high quality ingredients. Lunches include: paninis, sandwiches (including toasted) and jacket potatoes with various fillings (all served with a fresh crisp salad). Fresh seafood on the menu includes crab, smoked salmon, prawns and tuna. To finish off there’s a great selection of home-made cakes and pies.

Sandside Café is family run and is fully licensed, offering a great range of wines and beers. Why not sit out and relax with a glass of wine or beer  whilst enjoying the fabulous coastal views.
