More about Humble Pie 'n' Mash Shop

Humble Pie ‘n’ Mash is a family run business, operating within our delightful, lovingly restored 16th Century building which had originally been a bakery and has come full circle back to baking (pies)! Serving up an excellent range of mouth-wateringly traditional fare, just like Grandma used to make. Comforting but uncostly.

Relax in front of our cosy open fire and enjoy exceedingly tasty home-made Pie ‘n’ Mash, all baked on the premises, fresh each day, using the very best of local and natural produce. We offer an excellent range of meat and vegetarian pies including: Romany Hommity Pie (Vegetarian’s favourite choice), Roast Veg & Goat’s Cheese, Slow Braised Steak & Stout (a firm favourite), Lamb, Leek & Rosemary, Traditional Mince & Onion and many more – served with creamy mash and wonderful gravy.

Why not finish with one of our wonderful sweets and treats such as Jam Roly Poly & Custard or home-made Rice Pudding. Check the black-board for our daily specials. Hot mugs of tea and coffee and a good choice of cold beverages are available to complement your meal too.

Take-away service available. Open 7 days a week, from 12.00 Noon to 8pm.
