More about Broadings Farm Caravan and Camping Park

Broadings Farm Caravan & Camping Park is situated just one mile from the centre of the historic seaport of Whitby and is on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors.

Offering great accommodation for caravans, motorhomes and tents what makes it more special is that Broadings Farm is a working sheep farm.

The campsite is divided between two fields: one field comprises 50 pitches for tents and in the next field there are 69 hard-standing pitches, all with electric hook-ups for both touring caravans and motorhomes.

Broadings Farm Caravan & Camping Park is a delightful, small and quiet Park boasting splendid views of Whitby and the Esk Valley.

On site there is a newly refurbished shower block complete with toilets, hot power showers, wash basins and power points for hairdryers.

If camping is not your thing then why not stay in one of the self-catering holiday cottages? The larger holiday cottage sleeps up to 7 guests in its 4 bedrooms and the bungalow sleeps up to 4 guests in its 2 bedrooms.

Broadings Farm is perfectly located for exploring the local area and is only a five minute car journey or a short walk to the centre of Whitby. This world-wide known maritime town has loads to offer, with its vast array of specialist shops, cafes, bars and museums, as well as the famous 199 steps, historic Abbey ruins, whalebone arch, historic harbourside and beautiful sandy beaches.

The moorland "Heartbeat" villages of Goathland and Grosmont are only a short drive over the North York Moors too. You may even wish to board the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and enjoy the wonderful views by steam train, which departs from Whitby and passes through several picturesque moorland villages on its way to the bustling market town of Pickering and on to the Esk valley.
