What is Steampunk?
For those of you who don’t know, Steampunk is a science fiction and fantasy inspired style. It’s all about mixing the new with the old and combining a Victorian aesthetic with modern technology. Steampunk loves brass, copper, glass and wood, and being able to see the mechanical workings of things.
Steampunk is about having fun, charming the senses and enjoying what’s around you. Done your goggles, hats, pocket watch and put on a smile, you’re good to go. The Whitby Steampunk Weekend is waiting to delight you.
