Food and drink
There’s going to be over 30 different beers and ciders for you to try over the weekend. They’ll all be available to sample in ½ pint measures so you can experience more of the wide variety of styles and flavours that will be on offer.
You’ll also be able to sink your teeth into fresh, locally produced food throughout the whole festival.
At the Whitby beer festival, you won’t find any mass-produced beer, you’ll only taste authentic, hand crafted and regionally produced real ales.
Who you’re supporting
All the money that will be raised at this year’s Whitby beer festival will go to the Whitby and District Lion’s Club who will distribute the funds out to local charities and good causes which struggle to raise the vital funds they need.
The Whitby Lions run a Disability Scooter Progamme to support local people who would otherwise struggle to get out and enjoy the beautiful town we live in. The Lions provide hire scooters completely free of charge to make it easier for people living with disabilities to get mobile.
In 2017, the event raised £5k. Let’s see if we can raise even more at this year’s Whitby beer festival! We’ll see you there.
