North Yorkshire Moors Railway 60’s Festival 2019

Get your groovy glad rags on and jump aboard the time train for live music, classic vehicles, 60’s fashion and heritage rail travel.
There’s something for everyone at 60s Fest with each NYMR station hosting its very own tribute to the sixties.
Visit Pickering Station with displays of classic vehicles, children’s activities and live music! Local radio station, Minster FM will be hosting the event, starting on Saturday with Rock ‘n’ Roll band The Sonics getting everyone in the mood, before the ‘Big Night Out’ with the Swinging Sixties Showband and headline act The Stones. On Sunday, enjoy two epic afternoon sessions from The Funtime Frankies and Mimik Floyd, it’s set to be a swinging sensation.
Visit Levisham Station for Beatlemania from The Vox Beatles tribute band, with hit songs from the Cavern Club & Hamburg early days, Sgt Pepper/Magical Mystery Tour, White Album & Rooftop eras.
Goathland Station will be decked out in individual sixties style with a beer tent and live music across the weekend including Dusty ‘Miss Sixties’ Springfield and The Sonics.
Ensuring the 60s Festival continues all the way along the heritage railway line, Grosmont Station will also have a display of classic vehicles and children’s activities.
Travel along the heritage line (Pickering to Grosmont Return – hop on & hop off all day and enjoy the sounds of the 60s)
