The Saxonville Hotel has been in the Newton Family since 1946 when it was first bought by Raymond and Brenda and it has been passed down through three generations, it is located on the West Cliff giving easy access to the quaint cobbled streets and beautiful historic town of Whitby.
The hotel has a cosy, warm and friendly atmosphere, which is enhanced by both the beautiful decor throughout the hotel's interior, and the personal service offered by the Newton family and their staff.
The hotel has a selection of different spacious en suite guest bedrooms ranging from a four poster suite, deluxe doubles and twins, standard doubles and twins, family and single rooms are also available, so whatever your need the Saxonville is the ideal choice. Each bedroom has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and comes complete with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and in the large en suite bathrooms there are complimentary toiletries for your use.
At the Saxonville Hotel there is an excellent restaurant and bar, Fairfield Restaurant serves mouth-watering cuisine, freshly prepared on a daily basis using only the finest ingredients, and offers a choice of the traditional Table d'hote menu or the extensive a la carte menu. If you are planning a special event whether it be a wedding, conference or other social gathering then the Saxonville is the perfect venue. The restaurant can seat from 30 to 100 guests for a meal and the Saxonville has a wealth of experience in organising the most wonderful function for you.
