The property has recently been refurbished and has been furnished to a superior standard, the décor an excellent mix of original features and contemporary furnishings. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The main door to the apartment is accessed via a well lit and maintained communal stairway. Once inside the accommodation is spacious and all on one level.

Being so centrally located on Skinner Street this apartment is a perfect base for exploring all Whitby has to offer: the beach, cliff top walks, the harbour and the Abbey to mention only a few. There is a wealth of excellent shops, tearooms, restaurants and museums on our doorstep and the beautiful Pannett Park is a mere 5 minute walk away. Whitby really does have something for everyone and it’s all on the doorstep of Hildegard House.

Three of the delightful properties at Croft Farm Holiday Cottages  are 4 star rated, and vary in size and can easily sleep either four or six guests. These cottages have been decorated and furnished to a high standard and come complete with a flat screen TV with Freesat, gas central heating, and each kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, everything you may need whilst you are away.

The cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard and consists of a fully equipped kitchen complete with a washer/dryer, fridge, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, the kitchen also boasts a beautiful beamed ceiling adding to the character of the cottage. The lounge with dining area benefits from a coal effect electric fire, colour television and DVD player. Also on the ground floor there is a second bathroom with shower facilities. On the first floor there is the double and twin bedrooms and the house bathroom. Stable Cottage also has a patio area with table and chairs ideal for al fresco dining in the warmer months and the cottage has ample parking facilities.

Stable Cottage is an ideal place to stay for discovering the surrounding area, just a short stroll down a track from Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park is a beautiful two mile stretch of sandy beach with the pretty village of Sandsend situated at one end and a promenade to walk along to Whitby. The historic fishing port of Whitby is definitely worth a visit with it’s array of specialist shop, charming narrow streets and famous Abbey ruins. Further along the coast there is the resort of Scarborough with the beautiful beaches, castle, shops and many eateries, why not visit the pretty coastal villages along the way.

At Sandfield House Farm each of the pitches is on a level hard standing with electric hook-ups. Other facilities at the park include a modern amenities block complete with central heating and free hot showers, toilets, hot and cold running water, shaver and hairdryer points. There is also a washing and laundry room benefiting from washing machines and tumble dryers as well as ironing facilities

The caravan park also boasts a full sized tennis court and a children’s playing field, perfect for burning off any extra energy. Dogs are also most welcome at the park, but must be kept on a lead and there is a secure exercise area for them as well. Only a short distance away is a row of shops which includes a supermarket, post office, restaurant and a couple of takeaways.

From Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park there is a lovely walk down a track which is about a quarter of a mile long to a beautiful sandy beach which stretches for 2 miles. At the beach there is a promenade which lets you walk to Whitby and at the far end of the beach there is the picturesque village of Sandsend.

Sandfield House Farm Caravan Park is the ideal place to stay for exploring the local area with the delightful small coastal villages all with beautiful scenery and stories to tell, to the larger coastal resorts of Whitby with it’s quaint narrow cobbled streets, specialist shops and famous Abbey ruins, to Scarborough with beautiful Peasholm Park and both the North and South Bay all just waiting to be discovered.

Golden Hill Farm has several different self catering experiences to choose from, there is a campsite which can accommodate tents, caravans and campervans, as the campsite is only small and places are limited please book to avoid disappointment.

If you fancy something different there are two delightful bow top gypsy caravans available to hire in two different sizes, the larger one can accommodate a family group or up to four adults and the smaller one can easily accommodate two adults and one child. Each gypsy caravan are modernised for comfort yet are still very traditional offering a very different yet memorable holiday.

There is also a self catering cottage which has been lovingly converted from farm buildings. The cottage can sleep up to 8 guests in it’s two double bedrooms and family room which boast a double and two single beds. Each guest bedroom has en suite facilities and a colour television. The cottage also consists of a kitchen and dining area and can be hired out as a whole or on a room basis.

Golden Hill Farm is very family and children orientated and can hired out the for rallies. There is an adventure playground and also on the farm there are plenty of animals to see from miniature horses, peacocks, rabbits and pygmy goats to name just a few.

There is also private kennel and cattery facilities at Golden Hill Farm, the kennels are cosy and are available in a range of sizes to suite all sized dog, cat or small animal. The kennels are priced at £5 per day and £10 per night.

Golden Hill Farm Caravan Park is the ideal place to stay to explore the surrounding area and is perfect for bird watching, cycling and walking holidays. Close by is the picturesque villages of Staithes and Danby which is home to Stone House Bakery. Also nearby is the Victorian seaside resort of Saltburn by the Sea perfect for sightseeing and surfing and the stunning fishing port of Whitby with it’s quaint cobbled streets, an array of specialist shops, eateries and the famous abbey ruins all just waiting to be discovered.

Each cottage has a washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher in the kitchens and colour televisions in the lounge and some cottages also have TVs in the bedrooms.

Carthorse Cottage is a delightful cottage which can sleep six guests in it’s twin and two double bedrooms, one double is on the ground floor with disabled access and wet room. There is also an open plan living space, fully fitted kitchen and dining area. The house bathroom boasts a Jacuzzi bath and walk in shower.

The Olde Byre is a splendid cottage which consists of a single and double bedroom on the ground floor and a further double bedroom on the first floor. There is an open plan living area complete with a fully fitted kitchen and dining area, this delightful cottage is full of character and charm with it’s exposed wooden trusses and beamed ceilings .

Barley Barn is a quirky cottage consisting of a fully fitted kitchen and spacious dining room on the ground floor and then upstairs in the roof area there is the house bathroom, the lounge and two bedrooms separated from the lounge by curtains and each bedroom has separate access to the bathroom.

Harness House is a single storey cottage with stunning sea views and is made up of both a double and a twin bedroom, a house bathroom complete with a Jacuzzi bath and shower. The living area is all open plan with a fully fitted kitchen and dining area.

The Old Granary is a detached cottage offering accommodation for four guests in it’s double and twin bedrooms. On the ground floor there is the bathroom, dining kitchen fully equipped with everything you may need whilst you are away and a spacious lounge with a stove effect fire.

Copper Cottage is a single storey property with one large double bedroom, bathroom with separate bath and shower facilities, a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious lounge and splendid sunroom which is home to a dining table.

Lucy’s Lodge is a two storey property which consists of a large double bedroom which benefits from stunning views (viewed from upstairs) and a striking slipper bath. On the ground floor there is a open plan living area complete with a lounge and dining area, fully fitted oak kitchen and a shower room with walk in shower.

Sandsend Bay Cottages are the ideal place to stay as they are very close to the picturesque village of Sandsend with it’s stunning sandy beaches and the cottages are perfect for walking holidays and for exploring the magnificent coastline.

At High Straggleton Farm there are eight caravans and each can sleep between 4 and 8 people in either a double or twin bedroom and in the lounge there is a sofa bed for any extra guests. The caravans also have a fully fitted kitchen and they all benefit from central heating, double glazing and en suite facilities, as well as colour TVs, DVDs, hairdryer and gas BBQ, great for the warm summer evenings. Within in each caravan there are information packs about the local area to help you plan your daily activities.

High Straggleton Farm is the ideal place to stay in which to explore the local area as it is only a short 15 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach which stretches between Sandsend and Whitby. Why not spend a delightful summer day down at the beach or go for a lovely relaxing evening stroll. The splendid resort of Whitby with it’s quaint narrow streets, famous Abbey ruins and it’s 199 steps, an array of specialist shops and museums is definitely worth a visit.

Also close by there is the pretty coastal village of Robin Hood’s Bay which boasts a fabulous sandy beaches and is steeped in maritime history and stories of smuggling. Further along the coast you have the coastal resorts of Filey and Scarborough well worth a visit.

The holiday park extends over 14 acres and has facilities for 175 touring and camping pitches. We also have for hire a static caravan which can easily accommodate 4 people and has both a twin and double bedroom, making it ideal for families, a well equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower facilities and lounge area with colour television. The caravan is located at the top of the park and boasts fantastic views of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

If you do not fancy cooking one evening then you can visit the local pub The Flask Inn which is located just outside the park, there is also a café nearby, opening at 7.30am ready to serve breakfasts. Once a week on a Saturday we have a Fish and Chip van visit the park.

At Grouse Hill Caravan Park we also developing the campers dream, we have a selection of wooden wigwams. Each wigwam is heated and can sleep up to 5 adults and they all have comfortable mattresses, electric lights, kettles, microwaves, toasters and a fridge. The only thing you will need to bring along with you are your pillows, sleeping bags, crockery, toiletries and towels.

Grouse Hill Holiday Park is the ideal base for exploring the local area, the beautiful fishing port of Whitby is only 8 miles away with it’s charming cobbled streets, specialist shops and lots more. Also close by is the popular seaside resort of Scarborough home to lovely sandy beaches, an array of eateries and famous castle. Also on your doorstep are the pretty little moorland villages all with their own history and story to tell.

Each of the Watermark Apartments have been stylishly decorated and lovingly furnished to an exceptionally high standard and comprise of a light and airy double bedroom which boasts a comfy king sized bed and a lovely Juliette balcony which overlooks the marina. The second spacious bedroom has both a double bed and single bed and an extra single bed is also available on request, making it just right for a family. There is a house bathroom with underfloor heating, a lovely bath and shower, heated towel rail and complimentary luxury toiletries.

The open plan lounge/dining area can easily seat up to six guests and comes complete with a colour TV and a vast selection of magazines, DVDs and games are provided for your enjoyment. The kitchen is fully fitted and benefits from a microwave, dishwasher, washer-dryer, juicer, steamer and slow-cooker, so everything you may need whilst you are away and more. Both apartments are exactly the same in design and lay-out and they are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the apartment building and can be easily accessed by both stairs and lift.

On arrival there will be a lovely welcome hamper awaiting you, fully stocked with milk, tea, coffee, eggs, butter, bread, sausages, bacon, cereal and an array of other breakfast delights, perfect for your first morning.
