The Grapevine Café has long been established as a very popular eatery. Situated on Grape Lane, the café is now owned by Mark & Tracy Witherington who have transformed the café back to its 1960s heyday. The café is adorned in classic vinyl from both the 1950s and 60s as well as its very popular HEARTBEAT wall that acts as a shrine to the famous TV programme set in and around Whitby, Goathland (Aidensfield) and North Yorkshire.
Serving traditional café fare, from great Yorkshire breakfasts to delicious fresh Whitby crab salad platters – plus lots more. Fresh cream teas with delicious local jam or a traditional dairy ice cream from our 1950s style ice cream bike are all available at the Grapevine.
