Built in the late 1800s, The Metropole was originally a hotel, but has since been converted into luxury apartments. The Metropole apartments are situated on the West Cliff area of Whitby, providing spectacular views of Whitby Harbour and out over the sea towards the neighbouring coastal town of Sandsend.

Both of the two bedroom holiday apartments offer one en suite bedroom and a separate family bathroom and all three of the apartments are furnished to a very high standard throughout. There is a covered garage area to the rear of the building, with additional free on street parking. On the ground floor is an excellent public bar which serves good food, including Saturday and Sunday carveries, and there’s also a first class Chinese restaurant.

Whitby has been voted top of the most popular places to visit in the UK, and with such a varied and picturesque landscape it’s easy to see why. Whitby's historic town centre is just a gentle walk away and there’s always something of interest to be seen there. Just a short walk away lies Whitby Pavilion Complex and Theatre where many good acts can be seen and you can also be on the beach in minutes.

Apartment A
This 2nd floor apartment enjoys sea views from three sides and also has a sea facing balcony. The 2nd floor is accessible by lift or stairs.

The accommodation comprises one double bedroom and one twin room. The double room has an electronically adjustable bed and an en suite shower wet/steam room with steam machine, which is fitted with disabled facilities. The twin bedroom is situated next to the family bathroom and is fitted to the same high standard with electronically adjustable beds, plus it has a 42” TV with most Sky channels.

Pets are not allowed in this apartment, nor is smoking, but visitors are permitted to smoke on the balcony.

Apartment B
This apartment occupies a ground floor position in Metropole court. It has recently been refitted to a very high standard including a new kitchen with all mod cons.

The accommodation is arranged over two floors (a stair lift is fitted). The ground floor comprises a comfortable lounge diner with widescreen Sky TV and a modern kitchen with breakfast bar. The upper floor comprises a double bedroom with built in wardrobes and a twin bedroom with en suite shower room. There is also a large family bathroom with shower.

Apartment C
Overlooking Sandsend and Whitby Town's football ground, this top-floor apartment has beautiful seaviews. 

With a comfortable lounge - fully equipped with board games, TV, DVD, CD and VCR players - and a well-equipped kitchen (with cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, tumble drier and microwave), the apartment is perfect for a peaceful break.

Apartments A & B enjoy private parking, whilst Apartment C benefits from on-road parking. There is an outdoor decked area for sitting out which has the sun from early afternoon onwards. Well behaved (small) pets are welcome. Smoking outside the apartment.
