Voted by TripAdvisor customers 2010 as one of the top 25 hotels in the UK, our comfortable, well-equipped accommodation has been awarded four stars and a Gold Award. You can choose from a standard double room, a king size room or a luxury suite, all offering a really unique relaxing experience. All rooms have large en-suite facilities, and we provide spa cosmetics and fluffy bathrobes and towels to make your stay a really indulgent experience. Each room is fitted with a flat screen TV and DVD. Internet access is available.  Afternoon tea is served on your arrival.
 
The Bistro

The Bistro is open most evenings from 6pm and for Sunday lunch from 1200 noon. Bookings essential please.

Book your intimate dining experience in our new, fully licensed bistro where menus are seasonal and use fresh local ingredients. Quality is a priority for us, and we aim to deliver sophisticated fine foods and traditional dishes cooked to a high standard. A private dining room is available for special functions and meetings, and on warmer days you can dine alfresco.

Things to do
Its location in the heart of the Esk Valley makes Broom House an ideal base from which to explore the North Yorkshire Moors and coastal villages. This delightful setting is an ideal base for walking, mountain biking and bird watching, or alternatively enjoy a lovely day out in the nearby seaside towns of Scarborough, Filey and Whitby. The beautiful River Esk is right on our doorstep, and is a great place for trout and salmon fishing (a permit is required). Our peaceful gardens are perfect for relaxing in, or on cooler days and evenings enjoy getting cosy in front of our real log fires.
